What is an Upgrade Item in Genshin Impact?
Upgrade items are unique items that help certain Pokemon to evolve. They can be obtained by spinning Pokestop discs, and sometimes as rewards for events related to evolution.
They can be added to trinkets, armors, weapons and gathering tools to add additional effects or stats. Certain upgrades have a cosmetic effect.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors and trinkets to create an additional effect or unique feature when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained as rewards, crafted or dropped. Upgrade components are required to be higher than the item they are added to. Most also require that the item have an upgrade slot. Upgrade components can be substituted with other upgrade components, except for inscriptions and glyphs, which are only able to be removed or added freely.
Gems, infusions and enrichments are among the most common upgrade components. Gems are upgrade components that can be placed in any equipment, and provide lesser bonuses than other upgrade components. Infusions and enrichments can only be used on non-amulet gear and some legendary equipment. They can be recovered from the equipment they are within by using an Upgrade Extraction Device or by salvaging them with the Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool.
Other upgrade items, such as inscriptions and glyphs, can be added to or removed from the gathering tools. They can have a variety of bonuses, such as increasing the gather speed or bringing in more materials. Inscriptions can also alter the name of an item, such as changing a sword to be called 'Fiery Sword' by adding the Sword Pommel of Fortitude inscription, or adding a Rune of Minor Vigor suffix to make it 'Canthan Armor Of Minor Vigor'.
Glyphs
Glyphs symbolize a concept or idea through character symbols. A glyph can be an image or a drawing, such as an eagle or heart. item upgrades can also be used to create an entire visual language. A glyph can also have a standard code that is used across fonts to indicate it. This code is called a Unicode.
The shape of glyphs dictates which Primary Stats and Secondary Stats can be added. Some glyphs have both Primary and Secondary Stat bonuses, while others will only have one or the other. The glyphs that have both Secondary and Primary Stats will add to the total stats of the unit, while the ones with only one Primary Stat bonus will increase the stat's value.
Glyphs are very simple to use. Click and hold on the text insertion to bring up the Glyphs Panel, and then choose the glyph you want to use. You can also view a list of all the available glyphs by clicking View All Glyphs. The glyphs will be displayed in order by their Unicode code. You can click on the one you would like to insert.
When you create the glyph set for the first time, it is saved with other InDesign preferences in a file that can be shared. The glyphs do not belong to any particular document and can be edited using Edit Glyphs Set from the Glyphs Panel menu. You can also specify whether the glyphs remember their fonts when you insert them into text.
It is recommended to begin farming rare glyphs as soon as you can. They are found in World Tier 3 Dungeons as well as Nightmare Dungeons and Helltides. They are more accessible than the rare shards that you can obtain by crafting items and provide an upgrade to your gear. Furthermore, the fact they can be used to a variety of items means you can increase the damage and defense of your equipment without spending too many shards.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a standard practice in Genshin Impact, as it allows players to increase their chances of winning the most effective characters and weapons. The process involves creating a brand new account, and then claiming reward for registration or launch rewards, giving players a chance to obtain randomized items. This isn't without risk.
The game comes with a variety of upgrade items that can improve the performance of the unit. Upgrades for armor, weapons and rings are available. The upgrades boost the weapons and armors' physical power, while the rings enhance a character's health. Players can also buy Corkian amplifiers to boost the effectiveness of upgrade items.
In addition to these enhancements, players can also reroll their equipped items. Rerolling an equipped item resets the item's base power, the number of upgrades and chooses random substats. This is useful in the event that the item's upgraded power is less than what's desired, or if a player wishes to alter its substats.

To reroll a item, players must first unlock the upgrade component. To do this simply press the box icon to open the window of the item on the main screen. The player can then choose up to six items to be used for "recycling". The item will receive a new upgrade component with a random rarity, level and stat.
The player has to pay an additional cost once the item has been changed. The cost increases based on the rarity and level of the upgrade component. Afterwards, the player must repeat this process to unlock additional upgrades.
It is essential to test the patch locally before making it available for submission. This will allow you to identify any conflicts that require resolution. If the patch does not contain any conflicts, it can be merged into the upstream branch. The patch is then uploaded into an issue. It is also useful to show a clear difference, which will make it easier for other developers to check the patch.
